Start a Family Tradition! Pick your own Christmas Tree!

Make a fresh cut tree from Hodges Farm a tradition for your family.  Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, we bring some of the finest mountain-grown Christmas trees to our farm for the holidays.  Selected for their quality, our trees are Frazier Firs grown up to 14 feet tall or larger by special order, and are priced according to size.

Trees from Hodges Farm are hand picked and cut fresh weekly just for location. (We would love to grow them here, but they don’t grow well this low!)  Live trees with root ball are also for sale, but with limited availability.  

If you come on the weekend, we will also have pony rides for the younger visitors, weather permitting.  And almost always, we have some of our farm animals that like to hang out with us around the fire pit!

Need a stocking stuffer?  Hodges Farm offers gift certificates for horse back riding lessons.  This makes for a lifetime memory of a very special present. No one ever forgets is that first time on a horse. 

When you come to pick up your tree, please bring a blanket to help protect your vehicle and rope or twine to help secure your tree.  We are happy to help you load and secure your tree for its trip to your home!

When you purchase a real Christmas tree you are supporting an American industry and helping our environment too.  For every real Christmas tree harvested, two to three seedlings are planted in its place. 

There are about one million acres in production for growing Christmas trees. Each acre provides the daily oxygen requirements of 18 people.  There are approximately 15,000 Christmas tree growers in the United States, and over 100,000 people are employed in the industry of growing this crop.
