A light-medium roast gives this washed coffee a pleasantly sweet aroma and a balanced taste of almond and apricot. We also taste undercurrents of caramel and black tea in the cup.
La Colombia is a 321-acre farm owned by Gonzalo Vargas and his family in the Antioquia region of Colombia. This microlot Caturra coffee variety is grown in mountains between 5200-6700 feet above sea level. The farm also encompasses a 70-acre nature preserve.
