Our sweet Mama & Grandmama passes away on March 19, 2022. She will forever be remembered as the kind, loving, and gracious head of our family. We'd love to share her life's story with you... https://bit.ly/OliviaHodges
Our family is the reason we are here today. Countless hours of fencing, maintaining equipment, taking care of the house and family-in-need, meals cooked.... you name it, our family has done it! Come and see us for an event and you will meet many of us with a smile on our faces and warmth in our hearts!
– Grandson of Hodges Farm matriarch, Olivia – Nephew of beloved (and departed) Frankie Hodges – Son of Joyce Hodges Newman Connor took up the manager mantle in 2015 after our beloved brother, uncle, and son - Frankie Hodges - passed. He has steered our farm towards growing food with ecology and the environment in mind. This transition has transformed the farm into a vibrant, healthy ecosystem where many forms of life may flourish and provide nutrient-dense food for your family to enjoy.
Robert is our Jack of All Trades... he can be found developing new business opportunities for the farm, taking care of the poultry we raise and eventually sell, and making sure our online presence is relevant.
Our chicken stock pack is a great start for your chicken bone broth recipe, all you really need to add is water and simmer for a long time. You get 2 chicken necks and 2 chickens backs in this pack weight varies but is normally about 1.5 to 2 pounds of bones.
Makes approx. 8 half-pint jars of a citrusy, mildly sweet jelly. Perfect for spreading on scones or biscuits with some clotted creme. (You can substitute Pomana Pectin for any low-sugar pectin)
Check out this delicious quiche made with fresh-picked Rainbow Chard greens and eggs from the Farm, plus mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and Hodges Farm Italian sausage... Pretty sure if heaven has a taste, this would be it! SO GOOD!
