A lighter roast gives this coffee a pleasant floral aroma with a taste of black tea and pink lemonade that complements the arrival of longer days and new growth.
We have enjoyed this coffee as a pour-over, AeroPress and as a drip coffee.
Ibonia Estate sits on 105 hectares of land south of the town of Kiambu in Kenya. The property exports 180 tons of coffee annually, grown over 5000 feet above sea level in a rich, reddish-brown soil known as Kikuyu loam. This Rainforest Alliance certified estate focuses on soil conservation and the management of organic matter used in coffee farming. Two hundred workers from the local community harvest, wash and sort this AA grade coffee.
