Locally sourced from our friends at Riverbend Creamery just up the road in Lincolnton. They are a 5th generation family owned farm with a long tradition of excellent dairying. Their farm uses many of the same management techniques that we do and cares about the environment and wellbeing of their herd. This is the milk our family drinks and we think you’ll love it too.
Their milk products are made from Jersey cows, that are raised on pasture and mainly grass fed. Jerseys offer premium milk that tastes richer and creamier than other milk. Jersey milk also has up to 20% more protein, 18% more calcium, 12% more phosphorous and more B12. These cows produce A2/A2 beta-casein protein, which is said to be more easily digested for those that are lactose intolerant.
